Thanks to Alexandre Dupouy for access to his incredible collection of old photos.
But the octopus is ultimately a secondary character, revealing Woman through her desire, pleasure, and sexual freedom.
By working with old photographs, I want to pay homage to the lines of women before me who lived in insecurity, oppression, and frustration. The figure of the octopus liberates them, allowing them to finally flourish.
