As a counterpoint to these old photographs intended for male pleasures, this work of anachronistic reappropriation is a tribute to feminine pleasure. The woman assumes her suggestive postures. The figure of the octopus refers to the shokushu of Japanese culture, a tangle of pleasure, dreams, and the fantasy of the perfect man.
